1988 Olympics theme

Hi,

I noticed on your site that Mr Towns was responsible for the theme of the ITV/C4 coverage of the 1988 Olympics, which is used on the ident here:

Does anyone here have a recording of this theme or knows of any way I can get one?

Any help is gratefully received.

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your query. Sorry for not getting back to you sooner but I've been on hols.

I'm afraid the music was never released commercially, so I don't think anyone other than Colin or ITV/Channel 4 have it. The only way to get the music is to record it yourself direct from the ident.

Incidentally, I'm thrilled that you have put this link up, as I have never heard this music myself. If you know of any other idents, etc. featuring Colin's music on the web I'd be very grateful if you could supply a link to those too!
