Hi,
Today I watched 'Wind in the Willows' for the first time in years, and remembered how much I love the soundtrack.
It's amazing that one man composed so many of the classic bits of music we all here watching TV and films.
Was the soundtrack ever released?
If so where can I get it? If not, is there any other way to get it?
Thanks!

Hi there panmanthe2nd, Yes, Colin has scored quite a few TV projects, and you see his name on the credits crop up fairly frequently. Alas, the soundtrack for Wind In The Willows was never released (a complete shame) although a CD was sold for a time at the Wind In The Willows attraction (not sure where that is / was!). It featured just two tracks (see www.behind-the-mask.co.uk/html/willows-cd.html), but I don't recall the tracks ever being used in the actual Wind In The Willows / The Willows In Winter animated films. I think the music on the CD was written specially for the attraction, but I could be wrong! I have never seen this CD come up for auction or sold on the internet, so tracking down a copy is going to be pretty much impossible. But don't let me put you off.....!

Hello, I may be able to answer your question about the Wind in the willows attraction cd.I am listening to it now. There are two tracks: The open road- poop poop which is 15'59", and Toad's adventures/wayfarers all(rat gets itchy feet)which is 15'20".Both are written by Colin and recorded in Canterbury in 1999.Both tracks are a good example of Colin's soundtrack work.It is on the POV label. I hope this helps.Ihave had this CD for several years and do not know the value of this disc as i have never seen it offered for sale since. Regards Ken

orleans82, is there any chance you might be able to share your "The Wind in the Willows Attraction" CD somewhere online? This CD seems very rare, and I'd love to hear it even if it itsn't related to the animated Willows films that Colin also scored. I'm also curious if these tracks have narrations and voices, or if it's just Colin's music?
